Peran Manusia dalam Pelestarian Lingkungan Perspektif Al-Qur'an

Abstract

Environmental issues are global issues that have received responses and attention from scientists to find solutions. Because the impacts produced are not only in the long term but also in the short term. To find a solution, mapping the causes of environmental damage finally narrowed down to the anthropocentric paradigm, which is suspected to be the leading cause because it encourages destructive behavior in humans. Muslim scientists have also made similar efforts with an approach based on religious texts, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. This article is one part that responds to this issue from the perspective of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method by inputting data from library sources through the thematic presentation of the Qur'an with the subject of 'Humans and Environmental Conservation. The analysis and conclusion use the istinbâth approach of the Qur'an. The study results show that within the framework of the Qur'an's insight, the vital role of environmental conservation is a human task, which is connected to the trilogy of its duties in terms of creation, namely as a servant of Allah, caliph, and trustee.
